Søby Værft AS is conducting a maritime golf tournament in the unique surroundings of the golf course in Søby - also called the Danish "Pebble Beach". The event will take place on September 3rd 2010.

Managing Director Roar Falkenberg was awarded the Medal of Honour from General Major Jan Norgaard (The Danish Navy) for rendering a special meritorious and unselfish effort.

Søby Værft has got the order for another vessel (newbuilding 104) for the Danish Defence. The vessel is to be handed over in June 2011.

On November the 19st 2009, Søby Værft handed over its newbuilding no. 103 - MHV 911 to the Danish Defence

The Minister of Defence Søren Gade visited Søby Værft AS in late June 2006. Among others, he saw Newbuilding 97 - MHV 905, which Søby Værft handed over to the Danish Acquisition and Logistics Organization on the 5 July 2006
